Do children have to be supervised?
Yes, we require an adult to child supervision ratio of 1:4. Juniors 10 - 15  must be supervised by an adult either up on the ropes or following them at ground level. We have pathways following all courses to allow the supervising adult to encourage and guide the children at all times. Children 8 or 9 must be accompanied by a climbing adult at the same 1:4 ratio.

Can I change my booking?
Please contact us as early as possible if you need to change your booking, and we will do our best to accommodate the changes.

Cancellations,changes to dates or reduction in climber numbers made within 7 days of the climb date will incur an administration fee equal to the deposit paid. These changes should be emailed to us so a record exists of the request.

Changes to dates, times and number of participants may incur an administration fee.

If you arrive with less climbers than you had originally booked for, then you will forego the deposit paid on the climbers not present.

What happens if the Park is full when I arrive?
We highly recommend that you book in advance to avoid disappointment, especially during weekends and school holidays.

Is it safe?
Your safety is our utmost priority, and the combination of our safety equipment, safety training and qualified staff will ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time with us. We use a smart belay system, to ensure climbers are always attached to the safety line at all times.

Can I get down at any time?
Yes, if you feel like you cannot climb any further, or if you encounter difficulty, our trained instructors are on hand to lower you to the ground at any point on the course.

Can I leave the park during my booking?
You are able to leave the Park to go to the bathroom or get a snack, but you must return within your 2 hour timeslot. You must remove all your climbing equipment before leaving the Park. We recommend visiting the bathroom before checking in with us.

How much does it cost?
The Urban Jungle price now includes entry to the Aquatic Centre, and entitles you to  climb with us as well as enjoy the pool facilities, including the rapid river ride, water slides and splash playground.  Make sure you present your tickets at the pool reception to receive free entry and 4 hours parking free.  Click here for full details

What should I wear?
Participants are required to wear enclosed shoes while climbing at Urban Jungle. As you will be wearing a harness, we suggest wearing long pants or long shorts to avoid the harness rubbing directly on your skin. All jewelry and watches must be removed prior to your climb, and lockers are available in the Aquatic Centre for storage if required. Finally, long hair must be tied back in a pony tail.

WEATHER

What happens if it is raining?
In case of wet weather, the Park will remain open as usual. We cannot offer refunds in case of wet weather.

If lightning or high winds is imminent, the Park may close and climbers must return to ground level until conditions improve.

If you have not been able to complete at least 3 of the courses, you will receive a credit to return to rebook your climb.


OTHER

Are food and Drinks available at the Park?
The Aquatic Centre has a cafe that serves light meals, drinks and snacks.

Can I bring food from home to consume at the Park?
The Aquatic Centre allows patrons to bring food from home to be consumed in the Centre or outdoors in the Leisure Gardens, where there is ample seating or a grassed area for picnics. You cannot bring in commercial food into the Centre (eg Subway, MacDonalds etc), nor any glass containers.

Where is the best place to park?
The P2 car park is the closest car park to the Aquatic Centre entrance. The Urban Jungle price includes 4 hours parking free in the P2 or P3 car park. Remember to bring your ticket with you, and present it at the Aquatic Centre reception on the way out for validation. For more information on parking, click here.
